The next step is our Online Application. You must submit a $25 non-refundable application fee by phone or by mailing in your payment. Once your payment is received, we will contact you with a link for our Online Apllication. Our online application inclides informational forms, medical forms, our Statement of Faith as well as teacher recommendations forms to be completed by your child's current teachers. This is the most important step to enable the admissions process to move quickly.
All students applying to HCCA are required to take an achievement test for grades 1-8. You will be contacted to set up the required testing after we have received the completed online application. A non-refundable testing fee of $75 is due at the time of testing.
The Admissions Review committee will then review your application and test scores to ensure that the applicant has a strong chance for success at HCCA prior to the admissions interview. The review will occur as soon as possible after the completion of the prior steps.
Once the Admissions Review Committee has approved the application, you will be called to schedule an interview with the Administrator. Both parents are encouraged to attend the interview. Students applying for grades 6-8 are also required to attend the interview. The family or parent interview is a vital part of the admissions process. The interview provides an opportunity to get to know one another more personally and gives you another chance to ask questions. Of high priority to Holy Cross is ensuring that students will not only be able to flourish academically at Holy Cross, but also that the Christian environment of the school will also be a good match for your family.
