Frequently Asked Questions

  • When should I apply?

HCCA uses a rolling admissions process, and applications are accepted year-round as long as space is available. Early application is encouraged, as some classes fill quickly.

  • How are admission decisions made?

Admission decisions are based on a comprehensive review of each student’s academic records, placement testing, attendance and behavioral history, and alignment with HCCA’s Christ-centered mission. Our goal is to ensure each student has the support and readiness needed to succeed at Holy Cross.

Enrollment is open to students of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin who meet HCCA’s admissions requirements and support the mission of the school.

  • Does HCCA have a waitpool?

Yes. If a grade level is full, students who have completed the admissions process may be placed in a waitpool. Families will be notified if an opening becomes available.

  • Does HCCA accept students with special learning needs?

HCCA evaluates each student individually to determine whether we can adequately meet their educational needs. Families are asked to share any known learning needs during the admissions process so we can prayerfully and thoughtfully assess the best placement for the student.

  • What role do families play in the admissions decision?

Holy Cross Christian Academy values a strong partnership between home, church, and school. Families are asked to support the mission and Statement of Faith of HCCA, as we believe students thrive best when families and school work together in shared purpose.

Still have a question?
