Lara Lechlitner is an educator who was born and raised in the Burleson area. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry Interdisciplinary Biology from Tarleton State University. After graduation, Lara obtained her 8-12 Science Teacher Certification and spent two rewarding years teaching high school science in West, Texas.
She furthered her education with a Master of Science degree in Physical Chemistry from TCU, where she worked for three years as a Teaching/Research Assistant in the Chemistry Department. After dedicating the last eight years to being a stay-at-home mom, Lara is eager to return to the classroom to inspire young minds and cultivate the next generation of Christian leaders and thinkers. She believes that God is The Great Scientist and is excited to share how His perfect design is evident in all of creation.
Lara has been married to her husband for eleven years, and they have two wonderful children. Being a wife and mother is her favorite and most rewarding role.
The Lechlitner family discovered Holy Cross through friends at church and one of Lara’s college acquaintances. They began their journey here when Lara’s oldest daughter started at the age of three. Over the years, they have been blessed by many of the staff and community. They believe God has led them to Holy Cross through people and answered prayers. They are truly grateful to be a part of the Warrior family!
