Hi! My name is Sonia Ledezma, and I am so excited to join the Holy Cross family as a full-time Kindergarten teacher. After spending the past four years serving as a substitute teacher at HCCA, it is truly an answered prayer to become a permanent part of this incredible community. I am grateful for every opportunity God has given me to share my passion for teaching and to serve wherever He leads.

Since 2000, I have worked with children in a variety of childcare settings and have served in numerous children’s ministry roles, caring for and teaching children from infancy through elementary school. I was first introduced to Holy Cross while serving as a nanny for a student who attended HCCA. As I became more involved by attending school events, helping in classrooms, and eventually substitute teaching, I quickly fell in love with the school’s Christ-centered community. I feel incredibly blessed to now call Holy Cross home.

I look forward to sharing God’s love with my students and helping them discover ways to love and serve Him in return. I can’t wait to build meaningful relationships with my kindergarteners and experience all the joy, learning, and special moments that make kindergarten such a wonderful year.

Outside of school, I enjoy worship music, crafting, and spending time with my family. My students will quickly learn that building genuine relationships with them is one of my greatest joys.
