Allison Reddick

Kindergarten Teacher

My name is Allison Reddick, and I am excited to begin my journey at Holy Cross Christian Academy! I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and bring more than two decades of experience in education, including many years in Christian schools, where I taught students from Pre-K through 2nd grade. After relocating from the McKinney area, I am grateful for the opportunity to become part of the Holy Cross community.

I was drawn to HCCA because I wanted the opportunity to teach in a Christ-centered environment where I can help young learners build a strong academic foundation while also nurturing a love for Jesus in their hearts. Kindergarten is such a fun and exciting age, and I love being part of those first school experiences—encouraging curiosity, celebrating growth, and helping each child feel loved and excited to learn.

My husband, Zach, and I have been married for 28 years, and we are blessed with two daughters. Our oldest is a Pediatric ICU nurse in Dallas, and our younger daughter attends Texas A&M University. Now that we are empty nesters, we enjoy giving lots of extra love and attention to our two Maltipoo dogs!

One thing my students will quickly learn about me is that I love to have fun in the classroom. I believe learning should be joyful, and I enjoy creating opportunities for my students to laugh, explore, and get excited about learning.

A few fun facts about me: I never say no to a Diet Coke (it’s my favorite little pick-me-up!), I enjoy reading and listening to podcasts, and I love staying active by playing pickleball and taking walks around my neighborhood.
