First Grade Teacher
University of Oklahoma
Corynn Hatchett is excited to join the Holy Cross Christian Academy family as a First Grade teacher. Originally from Oklahoma, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma and brings five years of teaching experience across three school districts and three grade levels.
Corynn believes that both teaching and motherhood are callings God has placed on her life. She and her husband have been married for six years and are the proud parents of a daughter and a son. Their daughter is also a student at HCCA, making their family’s connection to Holy Cross especially meaningful and an answer to prayers they had been praying for many years.
She is passionate about creating a classroom where students feel encouraged, challenged, and deeply loved while growing academically and in their faith. Corynn is grateful that God led her family to Holy Cross at just the right time and looks forward to partnering with families as they help students build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
Outside the classroom, Corynn enjoys reading, watching Disney movies, and participating in Old West reenactments with her family. Through living history demonstrations across Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, she enjoys sharing her love of history and creating memorable experiences with her family.
