Hello! My name is Trudi Melton, and I am excited to join the Holy Cross Christian Academy family. I attended Oklahoma Christian University, where I studied psychology and child development. I later completed an alternative teaching certification program and received my teaching certification.

I have taught in both public schools and homeschool co-ops, primarily teaching math and science, with additional experience in history and test-taking strategies. I love teaching, and I love God. I was drawn to Holy Cross because I can combine those two passions in a Christ-centered environment. I am excited to get to know my students and coworkers while sharing my enthusiasm for learning each day.

I have been married to my husband, Kenny, for 33 years. We have four wonderful children—Ryan, Luke, Abbigail, and Audrey—and two grandchildren, Brady and Brooke. I enjoy spending time with my family and am grateful for the many blessings God has given us.

My students will quickly learn that I love all things math, and I hope to help them discover both the confidence and joy that can come from learning it.
