Teaching kindergarten is such a joy because I get to help young learners build a strong foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Before joining Holy Cross, I had the opportunity to teach second, third, and fourth grades, experiences that helped shape me as an educator and prepared me for this new chapter.

I earned my degree in education from Lander University in South Carolina, where I discovered a passion for helping students grow both academically and personally.

When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find me spending time with animals—they’ve always had a special place in my heart! I also have a love for the color purple, which often finds its way into my classroom and everyday life.

I look forward to getting to know my kindergarten students and making learning a fun and memorable experience for them.
