Holy Cross quickly became home after my family and I moved to Burleson in 2019. Our daughter was teaching here, and our grandchildren were students, so it didn't take long for us to feel like part of the HCCA family.

When the school needed an elective teacher, my husband joined the staff, and before long I was given the opportunity to serve as After-School Assistant. A year later, I stepped into the role of After-School Director. Although I eventually retired at my family's encouragement, I quickly realized how much I missed spending my days with the students. I began substitute teaching and was absolutely thrilled to return this year as the Stay and Play Assistant.

I truly look forward to loving on these precious children each day and being part of the joyful, Christ-centered community that has become so special to our family.
