Kindergarten Aide

Hill College

Holy Cross has been part of my story since elementary school, so returning to HCCA as a Kindergarten Aide truly feels like coming home. After continuing my education locally and graduating early through an accelerated high school program, I earned my Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from Hill College in Burleson.

Although this is my first year working in a classroom, my passion for children has been growing for years. My husband and I help lead the Burleson Foster Closet, where we have the privilege of serving foster families through respite nights and other ministry opportunities. It was through these experiences that God confirmed my desire to pursue a career working with children.

One of the things that drew me back to Holy Cross was its close-knit, family atmosphere. I love that HCCA is more than just a school—it’s a Christ-centered community where students are known, supported, and encouraged to grow. I look forward to building relationships with my kindergarten students and experiencing all the joy that comes with learning alongside them.

Burleson has always been home. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family, shopping, traveling (especially to Disneyland!), and hunting and fishing with my husband. My students will also quickly discover one important fact about me—I love all things Disney!

I am grateful for the opportunity to begin this journey at Holy Cross and look forward to serving our students and families.
